Joe Bowen

Joe Bowen lives in the heart of Mid Wales with his family, amongst rolling hills and valleys which provides him with a constant source of inspiration. His work has developed over many years from traditional figurative painting through a number of stages to the more liberal and vigorous style he now employs. His Scotish landscapes are his favorite subject which allow this freedom with contrast and colour, making the viewer almost want to pick up a brush and join in. His paintings sell prolifically in the U.K. and have also been collected abroad.
