Roy Putt

Roy attended Bournemouth College of Art during the late 1960's. At this time Bournemouth College of Art maintained a traditional approach to art education, with a strong emphasis on drawing.Roy was fortunate to have the inspirational Sam Rabin as his drawing tutor.

Over the years Roy developed a strong reputation in the world of Motoring Art.By invitation he became a regular exhibitor at prestigious events like the Goodwood Festival of Speed. He has been featured in magazines such as Classic & Sportscar and The Automobile.He has provided artwork for U.K. and worldwide companies including Maserati U.K. and Hastings Direct and many private clients from the world of motoring and motor racing.

Although he always strives for accuracy in the depiction of his subject matter it must never be at the expense of romance and atmosphere.
